Shanchuan Heavy Industry has completed the trial voyage of the first Afra type crude oil ship built by Haihong Shipping

On the afternoon of September 4th, Shanchuan Heavy Industry conducted a trial voyage and returned to port for the first Afra type crude oil ship "NEW AMITY" built by Haihong Shipping (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Merchants Energy Transport Co., Ltd.
The trial period of the ship is 8 days, with a total trial time of 164 hours; The host has been running for 91 hours; The trial flight inspection took 158 hours. With the strong support and cooperation of the resident ship owner, the receiving crew, and the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) ship inspection, all inspection projects have been successfully completed.
As the company's largest tonnage crude oil tanker under construction, it has added special equipment and systems such as desulfurization towers, cargo oil systems, and inert gas systems compared to bulk cargo. Its trial voyage is difficult and requires strict requirements. To this end, the project trial sailing team carefully arranged the trial sailing plan, and Party members fully played the role of pioneers and models. During the trial sailing process, they actively responded to unexpected situations, quickly took effective measures, and ensured the smooth completion of the trial sailing, laying a good foundation for subsequent ship delivery.
