Delivery of the first 5000 ton self-propelled DP crane ship in China

On September 26th, the 5000 ton boom type self-propelled dynamic positioning (DP) crane vessel "Sanhang Xiang'an" with the highest single arm lifting capacity and lifting height in China, and the first DP dynamic positioning operation capability, was delivered at the Zhenhua Changxing Island base.

Zheng Bo, Deputy General Manager of Engineering Management Department of China Communications Construction Corporation; Wang Shifeng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of CCCC Third Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd., and Yin Jianbing, Deputy General Manager; Yang Huijie, Secretary of the Party Committee of CCCC Haixi Regional Headquarters; Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry Party Secretary and Chairman You Ruikai; He Xudong, Chairman of Tianhai Defense, Zhan Jinfeng, President, and Wang Youjun, General Manager of Dajin Heavy Industry; Representatives from relevant government departments, industry regulatory units, industry chain strategic cooperation units, and project construction teams attended the delivery ceremony of the "Sanhang Xiang'an" ship together.

At the ceremony, Zhan Jinfeng, President of Tianhai Defense, delivered a welcome speech and expressed gratitude for the support and trust from all parties. He stated that Tianhai Defense, Shanghai Jiahao Shipbuilding Design Institute, Dajin Heavy Industry, and CCCC Third Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. have always adhered to the concept of win-win cooperation and closely cooperated on multiple major projects, such as the successful transformation of the wind turbine installation platform "Zhengli Qiang19000" and the successful delivery of the 110 meter high amplitude pile driving vessel "Sanhang Pile 21", which are vivid interpretations of unity and cooperation. The successful delivery of the "Sanhang Xiang'an" ship today once again demonstrates the powerful power of tripartite cooperation.

Subsequently, Zheng Bo, Deputy General Manager of the Engineering Management Department of CCCC Group, Wang Shifeng, Secretary and Chairman of the Party Committee of CCCC Third Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd., and You Ruikai, Secretary and Chairman of the Party Committee of Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry, successively delivered speeches to congratulate the smooth delivery of the "Three Seas Xiang'an" ship.

The "Sanhang Xiang'an" ship was invested by China Communications Third Navigation Engineering Group Co., Ltd., designed by Shanghai Jiahao Shipbuilding Design Institute, and jointly built by Dajin Heavy Industry and Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry. This ship is capable of meeting all current single pile, pipeline frame construction, and overall lifting tasks of the booster station, and is truly a national treasure and strategic equipment. As the largest single arm variable amplitude crane in China, it can meet the foundation lifting construction tasks of all wind farms within 25 megawatts, and also provide installation services for super large offshore components such as cross sea bridges, underwater tunnels, and offshore oil projects. The successful delivery of this ship will provide high-end equipment support for promoting the large-scale development of offshore wind turbines in China, moving towards deep and distant seas, accelerating the national "dual carbon" energy construction goals, and promoting the vigorous development of the offshore wind power industry.
