Changhong International Names the Tenth 5300TEU Container Ship Built by NAVIOS

On November 19, 2024 at 13:58, Changhong International held a naming ceremony for the tenth vessel "ZIM ALBATROSS" (CHB2015) of the 5300TEU container ship owned by Greek NAVIOS at Terminal 1.
Ms. Angeliki Frangou, Chairman and CEO of NAVIOS Group, Ms. Tsironi Erifyli, Chief Financial Officer of NAVIOS, Mr. Rosleff Joergen, Chief Commercial Officer of NAVIOS, Ms. Babanara Georgia, Executive Assistant to NAVIOS Chief Financial Officer, Ms. Chara Papaephymiou, Technical Director of NAVIOS, Mr. Zheng Zheng, Senior Review Supervisor of Bank of Communications Leasing, Mr. Shen Zhihua, General Manager of Changhong International Shipbuilding, Ms. Yin Ruifen, Financial Director of Changhong International Shipbuilding, Mr. Wang Jiazheng, Deputy General Manager of Changhong International Shipbuilding, Mr. Tsonos Ilias, Operations Manager of DNV South China, Mr. Andreas Makroglou, Site Office Manager of ADK Supervision Company, and Mr. Dazhou, Mr. Schionnemann Lars, a broker of Maizhou Shipping, and other leaders and guests, as well as representatives of Changhong International employees, participated in the naming ceremony.
At the ceremony, Ms. Angeliki Frangou, Chairman and CEO of NAVIOS Group, named the new ship CHB2015 "ZIM ALBATROSS". Ms. Tsironi Erifyli, Chief Financial Officer of NAVIOS, cut the cables for it.
The 5300TEU container ship project is the first cooperation between Changhong International and NAVIOS. The project consists of ten ships, with a total length of approximately 237.8 meters, a width of 38.8 meters, and a depth of 21.8 meters, classified by DNV classification society. Since the start of the project, Changhong International's shipbuilding team has made qualitative leaps in technical design, production planning, business management, and frontline research and development. Currently, 9 ships have been successfully delivered and are operating well.
