Information

On May 20th, the 40000 cubic meter LPG/liquid ammonia transport vessel (S1083), built by Nantong CIMC Pacific Ocean Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CIMC Pacific Ocean Engineering") for Avance Gas, held a steel plate cutting ceremony at the Western Hull Workshop. The smooth progress of this project marks another strong proof of CIMC Pacific Marine's technical strength and market competitiveness in the field of liquefied gas vessels.

Yan Wenfeng, Manager of the Nantong Office of LR Classification Society in Greater China, John Durkin, Senior Chief Expert of the Global Technical Executive Committee, Li Fengxin, Chief Expert of the Greater China Technical Executive Committee, Zhao Wu, Resident Project Manager, Wang Sen, Ship Surveyor, Duan Yigang and Tang Yeqin from the shipowner's on-site supervision team, Zhou Lubing, Deputy General Manager and Chief Engineer of CIMC Pacific Marine Engineering, Chen Bin, Deputy General Manager of the Shipbuilding Division, and representatives of the on-site project team witnessed the event.

As a new generation of medium liquefied gas (MGC) ships, this series of ships adopts MAN's green and environmentally friendly dual fuel main engine, with a designed speed of 16 knots and internationally leading speed and fuel consumption indicators. It is a clean energy LPG transport ship that meets the latest emission requirements of the IMO International Maritime Organization's EEDI Phase III and Tier III, and is classified by Lloyd's Register (LR) in the United Kingdom.

It is reported that the three IMO Type A independent fully cooled cargo holds of this series of ships started construction in February this year, constructed with low-temperature carbon manganese steel, which can effectively save tank capacity, improve the economic performance of the ship, reduce operational pollution emissions and greenhouse gas emissions.

For many years, CIMC Pacific Ocean Engineering has been building a full spectrum of small and medium-sized liquefied gas transport ships In terms of LNG refueling ships, we have deeply cultivated and accumulated rich experience and technical strength. Its products have already covered LPG, ethane, ethylene LNG、 Various liquefied gas transport ships such as liquid ammonia and LNG refueling ships provide diverse choices for domestic and foreign customers. It is worth mentioning that the 40000 square meter LPG/liquid ammonia transport ship that started construction this time has achieved new breakthroughs in ship type expansion, not only improving the energy efficiency and environmental performance of the ship, but also filling the gap in the company's A-type tank liquefied gas carrier product series, further enriching the company's product line.

In the future, CIMC Pacific Ocean Engineering will continue to enhance its core competitiveness, while achieving high-quality development, continuously providing global customers with higher quality and more intelligent ship products and services, and making positive contributions to the development of global green shipping.
