Shandong Ocean Group's first offshore photovoltaic pile driving operation and maintenance ship "Lankun02" delivered

On May 31st, the offshore photovoltaic pile driving operation and maintenance ship "Lankun02", independently developed and invested by Shandong Ocean Group's Lankun Marine Engineering and built by Rongcheng Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd., was successfully delivered in Rongcheng, Weihai, Shandong. This marks the official birth of the first offshore photovoltaic pile driving operation and maintenance ship with DP dynamic positioning capability, which will achieve a new breakthrough in China's offshore photovoltaic construction field.

The Blue Kun 02 has a total length of 65 meters, a width of 28 meters, and a depth of 3.4 meters. It integrates advanced design concepts and technical equipment, and is the first innovative equipment specifically designed for offshore photovoltaic operations in China. The ship fully utilizes advanced technologies in the field of marine engineering equipment, such as dynamic positioning systems, sliding systems, and positioning pile systems. It can easily move, accurately locate, and efficiently operate under four levels of sea conditions, achieving integrated and efficient operations of lifting, transportation, pile supply, and driving of offshore photovoltaic pile foundations. It can complete the installation of 30 pile foundations in a single day, possessing strong innovation ability and industry competitiveness.

As a state-owned enterprise initiated by Shandong Ocean Group to establish offshore engineering services as its main business, Shandong Lankun Marine Engineering actively serves the national "dual carbon" strategy, focusing on the investment and operation of offshore engineering equipment, as well as the construction, operation and maintenance of offshore wind power and offshore photovoltaics in the fields of marine new energy and offshore oil and gas.

The smooth delivery of "Blue Kun 02" marks the addition of new members to the "Blue Kun" series equipment of Shandong Blue Kun Marine Engineering, and the achievement of serving the construction of a strong marine province. In the future, Shandong Lankun Marine Engineering will fully leverage its equipment advantages in the field of marine engineering, continuously improve its engineering management capabilities, fully participate in the construction and development of marine new energy, practice green, low-carbon, and high-quality development, and effectively establish the "Shandong brand" of marine engineering services.

It is understood that Lankun Marine Engineering is an affiliated enterprise of Shandong Ocean Group Co., Ltd., established in 2020 with a registered capital of 2 billion yuan. Lankun Marine Engineering focuses on investment and operation of marine equipment, as well as marine engineering construction services. It has established a full cycle operation management system with the retirement of marine oil and gas facilities and installation of offshore wind power as its core. It is committed to developing into a comprehensive operation contractor for marine engineering with advanced technology, first-class management, and reliable services, and helping to achieve the national "3060 carbon peak and carbon neutrality" strategic goals and new energy development plans.

Rongcheng Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd. was established in 1998, with a total assets of 400 million yuan and a registered capital of 200 million yuan. The company has more than 600 employees. The company is mainly engaged in the design, manufacturing, sales, and services of shipbuilding, ship repair, ocean engineering, and other fields. It has formed a complete industrial pattern with ocean engineering equipment manufacturing as the mainstay, ship design and construction as the auxiliary, and ship repair as the supplement. It has independent design, manufacturing, and maintenance capabilities. In the past few years, the average annual sales of the company have exceeded 1 billion yuan, and the net profit has remained around 50 million yuan.
