Xiamen Shipbuilding Heavy Industry undertakes the construction of EPS's sixth 2900TEU container ship for trial voyage and return to port
On the morning of June 4th, Xiamen Shipbuilding Heavy Industry undertook the construction of Singapore shipowner Eastern Pacific Shipping (EPS) 2900TEU container series ship No. 6, which slowly docked at Terminal 2 and successfully returned to port, completing the trial voyage.
This ship is the last one undertaken by Xiamen Shipbuilding Heavy Industry for this batch of projects. During the construction process, the project team overcame numerous challenges such as planning cycles, resource allocation, and construction debugging. They continuously summarized their previous construction experience, consolidated their responsibilities, and took proactive actions. They successfully compressed the period from ship launch and construction to trial navigation to within 50 days, and the debugging period was shortened to 10 days, repeatedly breaking records for construction cycles. During the trial voyage, all trial projects were completed in just 3 days, fully ensuring the comprehensiveness and accuracy of the trials. With rich experience, professional knowledge, and a high sense of responsibility, the trial tasks were successfully completed, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent delivery milestones.
