On August 16, 2024, Zhoushan Dashenzhou Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. ignited and held a grand groundbreaking ceremony for Dalian Suri Shipping Co., Ltd.'s 7500 square meter LEG ship (hull number: WZL2306) and Hongtong Shipping Co., Ltd.'s 13000DWT duplex stainless steel chemical ship (hull number: WZ2301) in the CNC cutting workshop. This significant milestone marks the orderly progress of the above-mentioned projects.

The 7500 cubic meter LEG ship was designed by Shanghai 708 Institute, classified by China Classification Society, and has unlimited navigation area (both domestic and foreign trade). Driven by a MAN6S35 low-speed diesel engine, a high-efficiency slurry can be loaded with two types of goods simultaneously. The total length of the vessel is about 115 meters, the width is 19.4 meters, the depth is 10.6 meters, the service speed is 14.5 knots, and the endurance is about 12000 nautical miles.

The 13000DWT duplex stainless steel chemical tanker was designed by Shanghai Hanshun and is classified as a Class II&III chemical tanker. It is classified by the French Classification Society and has unlimited navigation area. The first ship in the series (4 ships) to commence construction this time. A high-efficiency propeller is driven by a MAN6S35 low-speed diesel engine, with the "methanol preset" classification symbol. The 16 cargo compartments are made of 2205 duplex stainless steel, with a single compartment pump capable of loading 16 types of goods simultaneously. The vessel has a total length of approximately 129.99 meters, a width of 22 meters, a depth of 11.8 meters, and a service speed of 13.5 knots.

Zhoushan Dashenzhou Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. was acquired by Pan Xuejian, the major shareholder of Taizhou Wuzhou Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., in January 2024, forming a new shareholder structure. The company's operations, technology, and production are aligned with the original team of Wuzhou Shipbuilding, and it continues to develop gas and chemical ship product lines.
