Excellent start to the second quarter! Shanchuan Heavy Industry completes two major production milestones on the same day.
On April 3, the 37,000-ton Great Lakes-type cargo ship B37K-7, built by Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Company of CSSC for the Polish shipowner PZM, was launched at the company's small dock. On the same afternoon, the keel was laid for the 85,000-ton pulp carrier M85K-4, built for CITIC Financial Leasing Co., Ltd.
Shanchuan Heavy Industry actively promotes lean production, continuously optimizes production processes, and various departments work together closely, achieving remarkable results in production efforts. In the first quarter, a total of 6 ships were delivered, completing the major node of the second dock undocking in 2025; 17 ships were under repair, successfully overcoming many highly difficult engineering challenges, and receiving letters of commendation from several ship owners.
