JinHang Shipbuilding wins order for a 130-meter LNG fuel distribution multi-purpose vessel

On March 6th, Chongqing Zhonghong Shipping Co., Ltd. officially signed a contract with Hunan Jinhang Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. for the construction of a 130-meter LNG multi-purpose vessel with a bow thruster.

This vessel is a single-fuel LNG multi-purpose vessel with a total length of 130 meters, a molded breadth of 16.26 meters, a molded depth of 7.2 meters, and a maximum load of 10434 tons. The vessel type is a new energy vessel with a plumb bow, twin skewed rudders, and a stern-mounted engine. It uses twin engines and propellers, is equipped with an LNG power system and a high-efficiency engine, and uses LNG as its sole fuel. This significantly reduces the emission of harmful substances (including sulfides, suspended particulate matter, and carbon dioxide), resulting in high energy efficiency and higher transportation efficiency and lower operating costs. This vessel type effectively protects the ecological environment and meets the national standards for green shipping with high environmental protection and high efficiency, making it a new favorite in the shipping industry.

It is understood that Hunan Jinhang Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., established in 2009 with a registered capital of 118 million yuan, is a large-scale, integrated professional manufacturing enterprise engaged in the design and manufacture of various steel ships, yachts, passenger ships, and related products. It has an annual shipbuilding capacity of 200,000 deadweight tons and nearly 400 employees.
