Jiangxin Shipbuilding Delivers 55-Meter Public Security Patrol Vessel from Factory
On October 21, the 55-meter public security patrol boat "Hu Gong Xun 0501," custom-built by Jiangxi Jiangxin Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. for the Shanghai Public Security Bureau's Border and Port & Shipping Administration Division, was officially launched and delivered. This milestone marks another exemplary achievement for Jiangxin Shipbuilding in the field of official law enforcement vessel construction.
The vessel "Hu Gong Xun 0501" embodies Jiangxin Shipbuilding's meticulous craftsmanship and profound technical expertise in the field of military shipbuilding. With an overall length of 55 meters, a beam of 7.6 meters, and a draft of 4.2 meters, the boat is designed with a forward-sloping bow and a square stern, featuring a continuous deck that optimizes water displacement. It is equipped with a triple-engine, triple-propeller, and triple-rudder propulsion system, complemented by a rounded bilge-to-stern angled hull design. Additionally, the vessel incorporates bilge keels and stabilizing fins along its bilge sections to enhance stability and improve maneuverability during navigation. The main hull structure is constructed using high-quality steel welded joints, while the superstructure is made from lightweight aluminum alloy materials, achieving both robust structural integrity and weight reduction. This design enables the vessel to reach a maximum speed of 23 knots, with an endurance of 1,000 nautical miles and an autonomous operational capability of up to 10 days and nights, ensuring reliable performance even in challenging nearshore maritime conditions.

Upon entering service, the vessel "Hu Gong Xun 0501" will officially commence patrol and law enforcement duties in Shanghai's jurisdictional waters, undertaking tasks such as maritime security maintenance, emergency response to 110 calls, and handling of sudden incidents. The operational deployment of this vessel will significantly enhance the effectiveness of maritime law enforcement in the area, providing robust support for strengthening the regional maritime safety defense system, ensuring stable navigation order, and safeguarding the lives and property of the public.
