At 12:30 p.m. on September 19, the vessel “Sangxia 2,” refitted by CSSC Chengxi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.—a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation—for an overseas client, slowly departed the dock and officially set sail. Earlier, the “Sangxia 1” had been delivered on June 5. With this, all two residential‑medical ship conversion projects undertaken by CSSC Chengxi have now been completed and handed over.

The Design Department mobilized more than 50 highly skilled professionals to tackle key challenges, independently producing all detailed engineering drawings required for on‑site construction. All production‑related design drawings were issued on schedule at a 100% rate. The project team has filed five patent applications and developed two enterprise standards.
