two happy events come one after the other! Jinglu Shipbuilding successfully delivered its sister ship with a 1400TEU container capacity
On September 9, 2024, Jinglu Shipping successfully delivered the "ELBTOWER" and "ELBBRIDGE" 1400TEU container ships built for United Shipping Companies in Germany. These two ships are the eighth and ninth in this series, as well as the nineteenth and twentieth successfully delivered this year, laying a solid foundation for further exceeding the 2024 business target.
The construction period of these two ships has been further shortened compared to the previous ships in this series, which is the result of the joint efforts of various departments in the Jinglu shipbuilding industry. We overcame the impact of continuous high temperatures and rainy weather and set a construction record of 43 days of trial voyage after leaving the dock. After the trial voyage, the ship was successfully delivered in just one week.
This ship type mainly serves the Baltic Sea navigation area, and its hull line has been deeply optimized, significantly reducing the wave making resistance during high-speed navigation of 19 knots, while also considering the economic speed and navigation resistance under various trim states. Under the same load capacity, the energy consumption is lower and the sailing speed is faster. The ship is capable of adapting to crowded waterways and inland ports, equipped with front and rear side push, efficient twist rudder, reversible mast, and retractable radar that can pass through restricted bridges. The ship has a small scale, complex system, and compact layout, making it the ceiling of a feeder container ship.
