On October 30th, Zhoushan COSCO Shipping Heavy Industries successfully signed and delivered the 6th 154000 ton shuttle oil tanker "HEDDA KNUTSEN" (N787) built for Norway's KNOT company.

At the signing ceremony, TOM KETIL KNUTSEN, General Manager of New Shipbuilding of the shipowner, and Ma Chuan, Executive Vice General Manager of Zhoushan COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry, solemnly signed the delivery documents on behalf of both parties.

RENE TANG DANNULAT, Ship Owner Resident Manager, PSARRAS IOANNIS, DNV Classification Society Resident Manager, Yao Daojiang, Deputy General Manager of Zhoushan COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry, and project team members attended the signing and delivery ceremony to witness this important moment together.

The 154000 ton shuttle oil tanker has a total length of 278.9 meters, a width of 47 meters, a depth of 24.9 meters, and a designed draft of 16 meters. It is a green, energy-saving, and environmentally friendly ship type independently developed, designed, and constructed by Zhoushan COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry. It has completely independent intellectual property rights and all technical performance indicators have reached the international advanced level.

As of now, among the 10 shuttle oil tanker projects undertaken by Zhoushan COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry, 6 have been successfully delivered, and the 7th N1012 ship has also started construction and is progressing in an orderly manner according to the established plan.

The successful delivery of the "HEDDA KNUTSEN" vessel is not only another important achievement of Zhoushan COSCO Shipping Heavy Industries in the field of shuttle oil tanker construction, but also another successful example of working together with KNOT to create green, efficient, and advanced ships.
