On November 5th, the 40 meter hybrid steel pilot ship "Yonggang Yin02" (JX775), built by Jiangxi Jiangxin Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. for Ningbo Dagang Pilot Co., Ltd., successfully sailed. This ship is not only the first 40 meter hybrid propulsion pilot boat in China, but also the largest hybrid propulsion pilot boat currently in the country. It will further improve the quality of navigation in Ningbo Zhoushan Port and contribute to the construction of a world-class strong port.

Yonggang Yin02 "is a fully steel structure with a total length of about 40 meters, a width of 7.4 meters, and a depth of 3.4 meters. It has the characteristics of green energy conservation, safety, and efficiency, and officially started construction in April this year.

In terms of green energy conservation, the new energy hybrid power system carried by the vessel achieves an organic combination of diesel engine and battery, with an energy consumption ratio of 2:3 between diesel and battery during operation, significantly reducing carbon emissions. Based on an average annual operation of 2000 hours, the hybrid powered boat is expected to save about 39% energy and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 45% compared to conventional powered boats; It can save 98.73 tons of fuel, reduce 248.9 tons of carbon emissions, 949.78 tons of nitrogen emissions, and 0.235 tons of particulate matter emissions. At the same time, the vessel is equipped with advanced energy management system and motor direct drive technology. Calculated based on an annual pure battery operation of about 1200 hours, the total annual operating cost is about 1.1 million yuan cheaper than existing pilot boats of the same scale.

In terms of safety and efficiency, this type of 40 meter steel pilot boat has a relatively large size, good stability and wave resistance, and can provide more safety guarantees for transporting pilots to and from the ship. At the same time, the boat is propelled by motor-driven propeller blades, which increases the transmission efficiency by about 5% and can achieve a continuously variable speed from -400 to 400, making the speed change smoother and achieving the effect of "micro speed control of the boat", further improving the maneuverability of the pilot boat.

The construction of the "Yonggang Yin02" vessel is an important measure for Dagang Pilot to create a new quality of pilot productivity.
