Oshima Shipbuilding delivers the second 72000 ton multi-purpose ship to COSCO Shipping Special Transport

On December 10th, the second 72000 ton series multi-purpose ship "GREEN NAGOYA" of COSCO SHIPPING was named and delivered by Oshima Shipbuilding in Japan.
Huang Nan, Director and General Manager of COSCO Shipping Special Operations, attended the ceremony, and Ms. Yu Hongxue, the godmother, named the new ship.
The "GREEN NAGOYA" vessel has a total length of approximately 210.0 meters, a width of 36.0 meters, a depth of 19.54 meters, a designed speed of 14.5 knots, and a range of 22000 nautical miles. The main engine of this ship is equipped with EGR exhaust gas recirculation and reuse function, and the generator is equipped with SCR device, which meets the TIRE III carbon emission requirements and is a green ship. The cargo hold of this ship is of the box type, which can accommodate cargo such as containers, frame boxes, new energy vehicles, and large mechanical equipment; And equipped with a rotary dehumidifier, it can fully ensure the quality and safety of pulp goods transportation. To ensure the safety of new energy vehicle transportation, this series of ships has also added a "one-to-one" temperature monitoring and warning system.
It is reported that the first voyage of the "GREEN NAGOYA" ship will transport engineering machinery, vehicles and other goods from domestic ports to Tanzania, serving the Southeast Africa Direct Express weekly service of China COSCO Shipping Special Transport, which is about to officially depart.
