COSCO SHIPPING Special Transport FAW's "Dalian Persian Gulf" liner route has been opened

On December 24th, as the "Chang'ankou" ship carrying 903 commercial vehicles slowly departed from Dalian Automobile Terminal, the FAW "Dalian Persian Gulf" shipping route officially opened for operation.
On the morning of that day, the inaugural ceremony of the FAW "Dalian Persian Gulf" liner route was held at Dalian Automobile Terminal. Yang Xiaocui, Deputy General Manager of Import and Export of China FAW Group, Zhang Guangfu, General Manager of International Order Delivery Center, Wei Minghui, General Manager of Liaoning Port Co., Ltd., and Assistant General Manager Tai Jingang, as well as Zhang Chi, Deputy General Manager of COSCO Shipping Special Operations, and Liu Yunwu, Vice Chairman of Far East Auto Ship, witnessed the opening of the shipping route.
In his speech, Zhang Chi, Deputy General Manager of COSCO SHIPPING Special Operations, stated that in recent years, as the cradle of China's ocean transportation industry, COSCO SHIPPING Special Operations has bravely undertaken the mission of a "big country fleet". Through measures such as strengthening fleet construction, deepening digital empowerment, accelerating green transformation, and enhancing technological innovation, it has built a stable and efficient automotive logistics industry chain service system. He stated that COSCO SHIPPING Special Transport will work together with China FAW and Dalian Automobile Terminal to enhance service capabilities, promote tripartite coordination among port, shipping, and cargo, enhance industry communication, and further build a complete, healthy, and sustainable automotive industry ecosystem through cooperation, collaboration, and innovation, creating a better future together.
It is reported that the "Chang'ankou" ship, which is carrying out the first voyage of the shipping route, is operated by Far Seas Automobile Ship, a joint venture of China COSCO Shipping Special Operations. It is carrying a total of 813 FAW brand commercial vehicles to the Persian Gulf. At the ceremony, FAW Import and Export signed an annual agreement with Far Seas Auto Ship.
As the cradle of China's automobile industry, FAW's three major independent brands, Hongqi, Jiefang, and Pentium, maintain a rapid growth trend. The opening of the "Dalian Persian Gulf" shipping route by FAW has filled the gap in the shipping routes of Dalian Automobile Terminal in the Middle East region. It not only fills the gap in the shipping routes of Dalian Automobile Terminal in the Middle East region, but also is a vivid practice of the three parties, Liaogang Group, FAW Import and Export, and COSCO Shipping, practicing the "national transportation" policy.
China COSCO Shipping Special Transport, FAW Import and Export, and Liaogang Co., Ltd. will take this cooperation as an opportunity to actively build an efficient collaborative mechanism, jointly promote mutual benefit and win-win results to a higher level, deeper level, and wider field, and work together to help domestic commercial vehicles set sail and achieve steady development.
