At 8:28 am on July 30th, the 5000 ton self-propelled crane engineering ship "Huazhao Long" of Guangzhou Salvage Bureau, which was constructed by Zhenhua Heavy Industries, was successfully launched. Leaders and project management members from Guangzhou Salvage Bureau, Taizhou Maritime Bureau, China Classification Society (CCS), Fleet Ship Management Company, Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry and other units witnessed the entire process together. The completion of this critical milestone marks the comprehensive entry of the project into the debugging phase of the main engine diesel generator system.

In order to ensure the smooth sailing of the ship, the shipowner, supervisor, ship inspection, maritime and project teams have planned and deployed in advance, organized special deployment meetings, scientifically formulated special plans for launching operations, real-time measured tidal conditions and tidal table comparison analysis, simulated key points throughout the launching process, and issued navigation notices and warnings in advance. Starting from 6:30am on July 30th, after about 2 hours of successful completion of the water launch operation, this project was successfully launched and received unanimous praise from users.

The 5000 ton self-propelled crane engineering vessel of Guangzhou Salvage Bureau is a steel fully welded self-propelled crane vessel with a length of 195 meters, a width of 49.8 meters, a depth of 16 meters, a design speed of 10 knots, and a structural weight of approximately 18520 tons. The ship is equipped with a streamlined bow and a 5000 ton lifting capacity crane at the stern, which has DP2 power positioning and anchoring positioning. It has long-distance self navigation capability, can navigate in international unlimited navigation areas, meets Tier III emission requirements, is classified as CCS level, and flies the Chinese flag. After completion, the ship can be used for the construction of offshore wind power pile foundations (including hosting frames), the installation of booster stations and large offshore components, and other maritime projects.
