Yinghui South starts construction of 53 meter twin body high-speed passenger ship for Tanzania

On August 12, 2024, the 53 meter aluminum alloy twin body high-speed passenger "Kilimanjaro 9" built by Yinghui South for Tanzania officially started construction. This ship is an important measure taken by Yinghui South to assist Tanzanian residents and tourists in traveling and further explore the high-end passenger ship market in Africa.
Bakhresa, Chairman of Bakhresa Group, and Abubakar Aziz Salim, General Manager of Azam Marine, attended the ceremony via video. Wang Shiyan, Marketing Director of Det Norske Veritas (China) Co., Ltd. Guangzhou Branch, and Chen Xiaoliang, General Manager of Yinghui South, attended the ceremony.
The "Kilimanjaro 9" is a 679 seater water jet propelled twin body high-speed passenger ship, with a length of 53 meters, a width of 12.5 meters, a depth of 4.35 meters, a designed draft of 1.5 meters, and a designed speed of 35.5 knots. It has the characteristics of low noise, good stability, good economy, high riding comfort, and stylish appearance. The ship is equipped with first-class aviation class cabins, which can provide passengers with the ultimate riding experience. After completion, it will serve the Dar es Salaam to Zanzibar route in Tanzania, providing residents and tourists with more efficient, safe and comfortable sailing choices.
