The first vessel of the Runbang Ocean SPP40 platform supply ship has successfully completed its sea trial and returned triumphantly.
Recently, the first vessel of the SPP40 platform supply ship—built by Runbang Ocean, a subsidiary of Runbang Shares—successfully completed its sea trial and safely and smoothly docked at the company’s terminal, laying a solid foundation for its subsequent formal delivery. This achievement also highlights Runbang Ocean’s leading edge in the offshore engineering vessel sector.
During this trial voyage, the trial project team worked closely and collaboratively with the shipowner and the classification society, scientifically formulating daily test plans and demonstrating outstanding professionalism and highly effective adaptability. Throughout the trial voyage period, relevant personnel conducted a comprehensive inspection of the vessel’s performance indicators. The trial voyage data show that the vessel’s propulsion system operates stably and reliably; its steering system is flexible and easy to use; and its DP system is both dependable and precise. Key indicators such as speed, fuel consumption, and vibration and noise levels all meet or exceed the design specifications, showcasing the vessel’s excellent technological maturity.
After the vessel is docked, Runbang Marine will promptly conduct a comprehensive review and post-event analysis, collate data from the entire trial voyage process, and distill valuable lessons learned. This will enable us to develop a set of reusable standard operating procedures, providing a highly valuable reference model for future vessels in the same series. Meanwhile, the construction team is fully engaged in subsequent building activities, making a final, all-out push toward the delivery milestone to ensure that we deliver to the shipowner a high-performance, high-quality vessel.
