Huahai Shipbuilding Delivers the 33-Meter Wind Power O&M Vessel to CCCC Haifeng.
On June 5, 2026, the delivery ceremony for the “Haifeng 5112,” a new‑generation, intelligent, high‑speed, all‑aluminum catamaran designed by Hua Hai Shipbuilding of Pinghu City for CCCC Haifeng Wind Power, was successfully held at the new‑yard pier of Hua Hai Shipbuilding. Leaders and distinguished guests from CCCC Haifeng Wind Power, CCCC Haifeng New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., the China Ship Scientific Research Center, Guangzhou Hengli, Pinghu Hua Hai Shipbuilding, and other organizations gathered on site to jointly witness this momentous occasion.
During the construction phase, all employees of Huahai Shipbuilding united as one, tackled challenges head-on, and worked in close coordination across departments with the shipowner, designers, and suppliers. By rigorously enforcing process standards and ensuring superior build quality, they efficiently overcame numerous technical hurdles, guaranteeing the vessel’s on‑schedule, high‑quality delivery. The company also looks forward to leveraging this opportunity to deepen strategic partnerships and jointly expand its presence in the offshore wind‑energy equipment market.
As the second-generation vessel in the Haifeng 51 series, the “Haifeng 5112” is the result of close collaboration among multiple parties. The ship features a semi‑small waterplane area high‑speed catamaran hull design with fully independent intellectual property rights, delivering significantly improved overall performance: it has a design speed of 25 knots, can operate in Sea State 4 and navigate in Sea State 5, thereby effectively enhancing wind farm operation and maintenance efficiency. The vessel is equipped with intelligent systems—including AI‑powered visual monitoring, fuel management, and 5G communications—enabling digitalized operations and maintenance across the entire ship.
Following delivery, the vessel will deploy to key maritime areas such as Fujian and Guangdong, undertaking offshore wind‑farm inspections, equipment maintenance and repair, and cargo transport, thereby providing robust support for regional offshore wind‑energy operations and maintenance.
This delivery underscores Pinghu Huahai Shipbuilding’s exceptional capabilities in constructing high‑end vessels and marks another milestone in the collaborative innovation of the offshore wind power industry chain. Looking ahead, all parties will continue to join forces, uphold technological innovation, deepen pragmatic cooperation, and contribute to the development of China’s offshore wind power sector, thereby helping to achieve the country’s “dual carbon” goals. We wish the “Haifeng 5112” to ride the waves and sail boldly across the azure seas!
