Eleven vessels delivered in a single month! Hengli Heavy Industry has completed the early delivery of two key vessel types.

On August 31, Hengli Heavy Industry successfully delivered the 114,000‑dwt LR2 product tanker “MIST” (P114K‑2) and the 82,000‑dwt Kamsarmax bulk carrier “Intensity” (B82K‑37), achieving a total of 11 high‑quality new‑build deliveries in a single month.

That morning, Hengli Heavy Industry held the naming ceremony for the second LR2‑class product tanker, the “MIST,” built for the German shipowner Vogemann. The vessel complies with Phase III of the EEDI standards, features key equipment from internationally renowned brands, and excels in environmental protection, safety, and cost‑effectiveness.

Previously, the first LR2‑type product tanker jointly built by the two parties, the “KARA,” was delivered ahead of schedule on July 6, with its outstanding operational performance and superior quality earning high praise from the shipowner.

That same afternoon, Hengli Heavy Industry delivered the Kamsarmax‑class bulk carrier “Intensity” to the Greek shipowner Aegean Bulk ahead of schedule. The vessel was handed over one month earlier than stipulated in the contract, fully demonstrating Hengli Heavy Industry’s strengths in streamlined production and efficient construction. The shipowner expressed high praise for both the vessel’s quality and operational efficiency.

At present, Hengli Heavy Industry has commenced construction on more than 180 vessels, processes 3 million tons of steel plates annually, and holds orders extending through 2030, making it the world’s largest single‑site shipbuilding base with the most comprehensive supporting infrastructure. As its world‑class facilities and production capacity continue to come online, Hengli Heavy Industry is earning the trust of an expanding roster of international shipowners through its highly efficient, high‑quality, and top‑tier delivery performance, thereby injecting stronger momentum into the global shipping industry’s transition toward green and low‑carbon operations.
