According to a report from Jingjiang, since the second half of the year began, Yangzi Jiang Shipbuilding has continued to ramp up its production capacity and accelerate its manufacturing pace, with overall production and order‑fulfillment performance remaining stable and improving.

This year, from July to August, Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group completed the delivery of a total of 16 vessels across various types, including ultra-large dual-fuel container ships, high-end LPG carriers, green and intelligent bulk carriers, and environmentally friendly product oil tankers—ship types that command premium value. These achievements underscore the company’s mature mass‑production capabilities, its reliable on‑schedule delivery performance, and its robust core competitiveness in the global market.

All the vessels delivered in this batch are premium‑class ships built to meet international high‑end standards. Notably, Yangzijiang Shipbuilding’s first self‑designed 40,000‑cubic‑meter Type A tank dual‑fuel LPG carrier has been successfully completed and handed over. As a medium‑size, fully refrigerated liquefied gas carrier, it boasts multiple advantages—including low fuel consumption, reduced emissions, extended endurance, and superior operational economics—thereby further enriching the company’s portfolio of high‑end gas carriers and solidifying its leading position in the clean‑energy vessel‑building sector.

Meanwhile, a series of benchmark vessel types—including the green bulk carrier “AQUAPEACE,” container ships, and the dual-fuel LPG carrier “MFM NICOLE”—have been delivered one after another, establishing a robust portfolio of high-end, eco-friendly vessels.

Notably, Yangzijiang Shipbuilding delivered the 24,000‑TEU dual‑fuel LNG‑powered ultra‑large container vessel “CMA CGM PANTHEON” to France’s CMA CGM Group. Leveraging the proven construction expertise gained from the lead vessel, the company optimized production and construction pacing and upgraded core installation processes for the membrane‑type cargo tanks, achieving higher quality, greater efficiency, and timely completion. The vessel was successfully handed over 71 days ahead of the contracted delivery date, further reinforcing the company’s market advantage in delivering on time and with exceptional quality.

Adding the 27 vessels delivered in the first half of the year, Yangzijiang Shipbuilding has now delivered a total of 43 ships this year, achieving 74.1% of its annual target of 58 deliveries. Behind this impressive delivery performance lies a robust and high‑quality order backlog, providing solid support.

As of August 7, Yangzijiang Shipbuilding’s order book stood at 256 vessels, with a total value of US$22.4 billion (approximately RMB 150.509 billion), and its delivery schedule is booked through 2030. This robust order backlog not only ensures the company’s capacity utilization over the coming years but also lays a solid foundation for maintaining stable production, continuously improving operational efficiency, and strengthening its resilience to economic cycles.
