Investing over 1 billion! Kaitai Shipbuilding Heavy Industry's new energy ship project starts construction

On February 9th, the new energy ship green manufacturing base project of Jiangsu Kaitai Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. started construction. Wang Jianjun, Secretary of the Huaiyin District Party Committee and Secretary of the Huai'an High tech Zone Party Working Committee, attended the event and announced the start of the project. He Zhe, the District Chief of Huaiyin District, presided over the start of the project. District leaders Zhang Yanfeng, Xie Peng, Li Dongsheng, Li Pengfei, Hu Juanjuan, Wang Jianjun, Gao Chuanrong, and others attended the event. Li Dongsheng, member of the District Committee and Executive Deputy District Chief, issued the "Five Certificates" to the project. Gu Min said in his speech that since the signing of the project, with the strong support of the local government and relevant departments, it only took 30 days from signing to acquiring the land, successfully completing all pre construction preparations, reflecting Huaiyin's efficient government services and high-quality business environment. He stated that in the future, the company will deeply implement the innovation driven development strategy, accelerate the shaping of new driving forces and advantages for industrial development, strive to create a benchmark for the new energy shipbuilding industry, and make greater and more contributions to the high-quality development of Huaiyin's economy and society.
Hu Daojun stated that as the construction party of the project, we will carry out our work with a high starting point, high standards, high efficiency, and high quality professional attitude, scientifically deploy the construction plan, continuously optimize resource allocation, improve the level of refined management, ensure the rapid, orderly, high-quality, and efficient completion of the construction tasks, and build the project into a first-class quality project.
It is understood that the total investment of the project is 1.008 billion yuan, covering an area of about 118 acres. After the project is fully completed and put into operation, it can achieve an annual output of about 100 new energy and special ships with a carrying capacity of 120000 tons, including about 30 ships for foreign trade exports and about 500 ships for annual repair and dismantling. The expected annual output value is 600 million yuan, of which the foreign trade export value is about 200 million yuan and the annual tax payment exceeds 15 million yuan.
Public information shows that Jiangsu Kaitai Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. was established on April 30, 2024, with a registered capital of 20 million RMB and a registered address at No. 2 Shugang Road, Ganzhuang Village, Guqingkou Street, Huaiyin District, Huai'an City, Jiangsu Province. The legal representative is Gu Guoping, and the business scope includes shipbuilding, ship design, ship dismantling, ship repair, ship inspection services, ship pilotage services, non-metallic ship manufacturing, domestic ship management services, etc.
