32 ships! Ningbo Zhoushan Port tugboat fleet expands again

On the morning of December 30th, accompanied by the melodious sound of ship whistles, three newly built tugboats, "Yonggang Xiaotuo 35", "Yonggang Xiaotuo 36", and "Yonggang Xiaotuo 37", slowly entered berths 1 and 2 of the Lunsi Battery Pier and completed the handover. At this point, Ningbo Oil Port Barge Co., Ltd. has expanded its own number of tugboats to 32.
In order to adapt to the increasing cargo throughput of Ningbo Zhoushan Port year by year and help create a safer and more efficient port navigation environment, the three tugboats that were put into service this time are all dual-purpose fully revolving tugboats for firefighting, towing, maritime search and rescue, emergency rescue and other functions in addition to conventional assistance for berthing operations. This is conducive to unleashing the efficiency of tugboat operations in the core port area of Ningbo Zhoushan Port and ensuring port safety production.
It is reported that these three tugboats were all built by Zhenjiang Shipyard, with various indicators at the advanced level of the industry, equipped with FIFI-1 fire protection function (i.e. Class I fire protection function), panoramic collision avoidance warning system, unmanned engine room and other environmentally friendly and digital advanced technologies, achieving better maneuverability, more reasonable internal structure, and more comfortable living environment.
Especially for the "Yonggang Xiaotuo 37" vessel handed over this time, its core equipment is all high-quality and cost-effective "Made in China", making it the first domestically produced tugboat with core equipment in Ningbo Zhoushan Port. The tugboat is also equipped with a bow cable limiter for the first time, which can accurately control the extreme position of the tugboat cable in a specific direction, fundamentally avoiding unnecessary scratches between the cable and the hull. It will provide important support in assisting large ships to depart, turn around or perform other complex operations.
