Jinglu Shipping delivers the third 3000TEU container ship to Danish shipowner
On August 26, 2024, Jinglu Shipping successfully delivered the third 3000TEU container ship "CELSIUS EDINBURGH" built for Danish shipowner CELSIUS SHIPPING, and the ship is ready to depart on the same day. This ship is the 18th one successfully delivered this year.
With the joint efforts of all parties involved and shipyard employees involved in the project, the ship achieved a new high in dock integrity among the series of ships before further optimizing the dock period. After the trial voyage, the delivery time was shortened from two weeks for the first ship in the series to one week. The company will continuously summarize and improve the construction experience and technical processes of its series of ships, striving to ensure that subsequent ships reach a higher level of construction and are delivered to shipowners with higher quality.
The ship is 35.2 meters wide and has a draft of 11.0 meters. It is driven by a low-speed engine with a continuous power of 14880 kilowatts, a single engine and propeller, a speed of 19 knots, and can load 3006 standard containers. Inspected by the American Bureau of Shipping, the range is approximately 15700 nautical miles. This ship type belongs to the category of medium range container ships, which can be deployed for both branch line operations and medium range mainline operations. It is an efficient, economical, green and environmentally friendly container ship.
