Yangzhou Dingheng delivers a 10,600-ton chemical tanker to a British shipowner
On June 10, the 10,600-ton chemical tanker "Agnes PG", built by the Yangzhou Dingheng Shipyard of China Merchants Industry for a British shipowner, was officially delivered. Named after the granddaughter of the shipowner's founder, Mr. Giles, the "Agnes PG" carries a beautiful meaning of inheritance and hope.
In terms of technical design, considering the shallow draft and special waterway conditions of the shipowner's operating area, the vessel was specially designed with 6.8-meter and 6.5-meter double-deck marks, significantly improving its navigability in complex waters. At the same time, the vessel strictly adheres to the latest energy efficiency standards, equipped with green energy-saving equipment such as a solar photovoltaic system, a lithium battery energy storage ESS system, and a high-voltage shore power system, and reserves an interface for methanol fuel power system upgrades, laying a solid foundation for future low-carbon transformation.
As the second vessel delivered this year for the 10,600-ton chemical tanker project, and also the seventh vessel delivered by Yangzhou Dingheng in 2025, the "Agnes PG" benefited from the accumulated experience of the first vessel's construction. The construction process was efficient and smooth, taking only half a month from the end of sea trials to being ready for delivery, earning high recognition and praise from the shipowner.

In the first half of 2025, Yangzhou Dingheng has already completed more than half of its annual delivery target, demonstrating strong project management capabilities and efficient production and construction efficiency. This achievement is not only the result of collaborative efforts from multiple parties but also a concrete manifestation of the team's cohesion and execution. In the future, Yangzhou Dingheng will always adhere to the original intention of "customer-centricity", maintain a humble and pragmatic attitude, continuously optimize construction processes, and build more safe, environmentally friendly, and efficient vessels for global shipowners. We also wish the "Agnes PG" a smooth voyage and prosperous shipping, writing a glorious chapter on the global shipping stage.
