Zhaoshang Industrial Weihai Shipyard delivers one ship and launches another on the same day
On June 30, the sixth car carrier, "LAKE VICTORIA" (W0305), built by CIMC Raffles Shipyard Weihai for Eastern Pacific Shipping (EPS) of Singapore, was completed and delivered. Representatives from EPS, CIMC Raffles, and the company signed the delivery documents.
The vessel is 199.9 meters long, 38 meters wide, has a design draft of 8.6 meters, and a speed of up to 19 knots. All performance parameters have reached internationally advanced levels. The ship has 12 car decks, including fixed and movable decks, allowing for flexible space arrangement to maximize the loading of different types of cars and improve transportation efficiency. At the same time, the ship uses advanced environmental protection technology, and all indicators meet international stringent emission standards, contributing to the green shipping market.
The delivery of "LAKE VICTORIA" further demonstrates the technical strength of CIMC Raffles Shipyard Weihai in the field of high-end shipbuilding and lays a solid foundation for further deepening cooperation between the two parties.

On the same day, Weihai Shipyard launched the 13th high-end passenger and ro-ro ship (W0283) built for Stena, entering the wharf outfitting and mooring test phase.
During construction, the project team carefully planned and vigorously promoted the advancement of procedures, significantly improving construction efficiency and integrity. The launch state achieved multiple breakthroughs: the core system hydraulic pump station of the ro-ro equipment was debugged, and the stern gate was opened; the completion rate of the piping system in the superstructure decoration area reached 90%, creating good conditions for subsequent interior decoration projects; the installation and wiring of the lighting in the seventh deck area were completed, achieving "lighting". These breakthroughs reflect the pragmatic and responsible work style of the project team and demonstrate the company's increasingly sophisticated craftsmanship and project management capabilities in the field of high-end passenger and ro-ro ship construction.
The ship owner's on-site supervision representative, the classification society representative, and the Weihai Shipyard project team members witnessed the event.
