Zhenhua Heavy Industries has completed the main hull integration of the multipurpose heavy-lift vessel built for China–Poland Shipping.
On June 30, the No. 3 38,000-ton multipurpose heavy-lift vessel built by Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Group for China–Poland Steamship Co., Ltd. achieved main hull closure at Zhenhua Offshore Engineering.
The vessel integrates heavy‑cargo capacity, versatile adaptability, and green, intelligent technologies. It measures 182 meters in length, 30 meters in breadth, and 17 meters in depth, with a design draft of 9.8 meters and a service speed of 14.5 knots, and is classed by DNV. Its design fully meets the demands of transporting high‑end equipment: it is equipped with three 350‑ton crane‑gantry cranes independently developed by Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Group, offering a combined lifting capacity of 700 tons to efficiently handle the hoisting of heavy components; it features an open‑deck cargo space and two extra‑long cargo holds, each with a maximum length of 76.8 meters, along with adjustable movable secondary decks, ensuring exceptional cargo versatility and enabling it to comprehensively satisfy global requirements for transporting oversized cargoes and complete sets of equipment.
The series comprises four vessels, and their construction is currently progressing in an orderly manner with progress firmly under control. Upon delivery of all four ships, Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Group will further strengthen its competitive edge in the high-end specialized vessel‑building sector, helping to expand into high‑value‑added vessel markets and enhance its international brand presence.

Going forward, Zhenhua Heavy Industries will continue to strengthen its expertise in the construction of specialized vessels, leveraging sustained innovation and high‑quality delivery to further enhance its core construction capabilities and market competitiveness, thereby helping the Group accelerate its transition to the high end of the industry and achieve higher‑quality, sustainable development.
